Two small spheres with mass = 15.0 are hung by silk threads of length = 1.26 from a common point (Figure 1) . When the spheres are given equal charges, so that , each thread hangs at an angle = 30.0 from the vertical.Draw a diagram showing the forces on the left sphere. Treat the spheres as point charges. Draw the force vectors with their tails at the left sphere. The orientation of your vectors will be graded. The exact length of your vectors will not be graded but the relative length of one to the other will be graded.

you are again and again rating as not helpful, this is disappointing my friend... but still: Tension can be found by adding both mg and Fq vectorially... this vector will be longer than both of them...
