(b) Determine the energy required to assemble these four point charges from far apart to present configuration

(c)An electron (m = 9.11 x 10^-31 kg) is placed at the center of the square with zero initial velocity. Determine its instantaneous acceleration, both direction and magnitude, due to the four point charges at the corners

NOTICE (Read and answer the questions please, SHOW WORK, dont just plaster me with just the equations and tell me to do the rest (why pay money?) my teacher just shoves power point down at me in class, this of course teaches me nothing. I have no idea how to set up the equations, to put things together.)

Hehe... your problem seems to be legitimate, but what happens on these kind of answering sites is, that everybody tries to rush to answer, and tries to post their answer first, that is before anybody else. Because the question posters don't decide with a good intent on whom to rate the best, once they get their answer they just rate all the answers as A+ from top to bottom, and the best credit goes to the person who posted his answer first, and the best answer doesn't even get any credit. Once this mentality is changed in the question posters you will start to get quality answers believe me, because we answer presenters would know that people only rate good answers so we will try to do that. and regarding your question, I can solve it completely on paper and mail it to you if you want, this chegg answering system doesn't provide complete freedom to post the answers in a mathematically correct format, so we all have to make a compromise on that. and thats why the quality degrades, and you know what you people pay the money so get your money's worth by requesting in a large mass to chegg for improving their answering process, because its really a headache for us in posting step by step answer in the correct format. They won't listen to our request because we our not their customers, we don't give them a single penny, we are here to solve questions and earn rewards in return, but you people are money payers to them and they will surely cater to your requests.
