I need help getting started on the research. The topic is "Transmissions" so this would have to do with substations. What are some really good references I could use for this?

Research: To successfully complete this paper, I expect you to conduct extensive opern source research, particularly on the types of Industrial Control System vendors, hardware, software and communication protocols that are used to perform operations at the plants. You should explore topics such as how remote access is facilitated, how monitoring and control are performed, and how the plant safety systems operate. You should also demonstrate that you understand how power is produced at the plant. I also expect you to describe a realistic threat/failure scenario that could be caused or amplified by a cybersecurity event, and discuss recommendations for preventing this type of event at the plant. Individual papers must have at least 7 references in APA format.

I advised you to visit a Substation first and observe the thing that happens when supply is generated. At the time of site visit, try to observe the cost-effective equipment which is more expensive and equipment that produced more losses.
