Explain 1-5 .11 T-Mobile 1:17 PM @ 70% Week #6 Test 2 Review 1. Identify if the following is linear/nonlinear, is homogeneous/nonhomogeneous, and has variable coefficients/constant coefficients y(4)-41/ + 4y = (z + 1) e2x 2. Explain when the general solution can be independent/dependent 3. Explain when the Wronskian indicates solutions are dependent/independent 4. Explain how and are connected 5. Why do we guess Asin B cosr if just a sin c or cos T is present in the differential equation? 6. What does the Wronskian tell us about our solutions? What should we do with Previous Next Courses Calendar To Do Notifications InboxExplanation / Answer
1. Linear, Non-Homogeneous(Since RHS is non-zero), 4th order ODE with constant coefficients
2. Whenever The ODE was solved then no. of arbitrary constants in General solution is same as the Order of ODE. Hence there are at most n independent solution if n=order of ODE.
3. If Wronskian of 2-solution is zero it implies the 2- solutions are linearly dependent.
If wronskian is non-zero then Solution are Linearly Independent.
