when to play with 4th gear then at that time the gear ratio is 1:1. means in this case the motor and the transmission out put(tier) rotate at the same RPM . But when 2 gear will have to play to increase or decrease speed,then obviously the motor spped will be high in comparision to out put speed in RPM.

as per formula the motor spped in rpm = tier speed in RPM/0.5 (here two gear will have to play)

=2400/0.5= 4800 RPM
