Designing of Neural networks are motivated from human brain. the brain has high complex, nonlinear and parallel computer. it has a capability to organize its structural constituents known as neurons so as to perform certain computations. Neural network is a machine that is designed to model the way in which the brain performs a patricular task or a function of interest.   A neural network is a massively parallel distributed processor made up of simple processing
units that has a natural propensity for storing experiential knowledge and making it available
for use. It resembles the brain in two respects:
1. Knowledge is acquired by the network from its environment through a learning process.
2. Interneuron connection strengths, known as synaptic weights, are used to store the acquired
knowledge.

2 ans:- 1. designing of an artifical neuron is main challenge in neural system. 2.getting the classification of patterns also big challenge to scientists. 3.design of algorithms to self-learning and self-adapting also big challenge. 3 ans:- you can take many projects in this stream. because it is trending technology. 1. automatic running vehicles. 2. brain and computer interfacing projects. 3. home automatization according to your thoughts. 4. route maps of colleges and universities to show the way to a particular place in college like seminar halls etc.

4 ans:- Important concepts to learn to do these projects are classifications of data, principle component analysis, adopting new data in the place of old data, single layer perceptron and multilayer perceptron, propagating techniques and propagating functions, back propagation, learning algorithms, self-organizing maps, support vector machines, regulation theory. these are the basic concepts to proceed with the project.
