Question
Need help filling out the panel 3. UVen- 120/208V/3PH, 30A Load Loads on MDP: Enter breaker info and wire info on the panel schedule) 1. Panel A- 120/208V/3PH, (Total from above circuits) 2. Panel B-120/208V/3PH, 45000W (assume non continuous balanced) 3. Panel C 120/208V/3PH, 27000w (assume non continuous balanced) 4. RTU#1-208V/3PH, 95A Load (assume non continuous) RTU#2-208V/3PH, 95A Load (assume non continuous) Exhaust Fan #1 (EF1)-208V/3 PH, 4500W (assume continuous) 6. A. Main Distribution Panel (MDP) MDP - 120/208V/3PH Add up all the loads on MDP, accounting for 100% of the "Non-Continuous" loads and 125% of the "Continuous Loads". Use the grand total for determining the total amps on the panel. Choose the Main Circuit Breaker Size based on that amperage total, and choose the Wire Qty and Wire Size based on that main breaker size. (Neutral is not considered a current-carrying conductor in this case.) CYs 535 2/182018, O Panl Karr CNS 535 Flectrical Seruice InstauExplanation / Answer
1. for panel A you need the total connnected load and total demand load if available for calculation
2.Calculate the Total Connected Load (TCL)
TCL=R+Y+B
Calculate the Total Demand Load (TDL)
TDL = DF ×TCL
S (KVA) = (Sc+Sd)/2
according to connected load
I =45000/(3*208*0.8)
= 90
= 90
circuit breaker = 90A
wire size =3×50+25+25mm2
3.do the same for panel C
