When WASH. oltage to ontacts Since the wiper the contacis a 2 relay switch contacts are normaily closed to the low speed circuit of the windshield wiper motor, the motor will ope ate itExplanation / Answer
The operation of wiper motor in low speed mode is controlled by the body control module (BCM). The switch for wiper/washer directly controls the high speed operation and the washer pump. The voltage for the signal circuits to the BCM for operating the windshield washer/wiper is supplied by windshield wiper/washer switch. The BCM powers the wiper 1 relay by supplying voltage to the coils of the relay whenever it detects WASH, MIST, DELAY, LOW or HIGH. This makes the battery voltage of the WIPER fuse flow through the inputs which are switched by the relay followed by contacts and out of the relay contacts and into the relay switch for wiper 2 contacts. The motor will normally run at low speeds because the relay switch contacts of wiper 2 are normally closed to the low speed circuit for the wiper windshield motor.
