1) a 2000 kg train wagon is pulled by a 5000N weight as shown. and it has the at wood machine picture but.. i cant upload it somehow .. the pic looks like there is rectangular box and trainwagon (2000kg) is at the top and has rope going down to left and weight is hanging by rope and it is at the left side of the box (5000n)

FIND Acceleration, and tension of rope.

So basically my question of this is when im solving this problem for theweight is going down is 5000n. So f=-ma??? or F=ma. so , if u draw pic and look at Left part which would be then +t-w=-ma. T=w-ma? So 5000n-510kg*a=2000kg*9.8+2000kg*a. Or 5000n+510kg*a...and so on. I dont get if u have to do f=-ma. Or not. Dont just write answer to me , Explain my question. Or no point rewarded
