1) Digesting a precipitate is the process of growing larger particles or nuclei or crystallites of the precipitate by heating the precipitate and mother solution(from which it precipitated) for sometime.Due to digestion cleaner and larger particles for the precipitate can be obtained.This process of digestion is called Ostwald ripening .

2)K4[Fe(CN)6 ] has iron in +2 oxidation state shown as:

[Fe(2+)(CN)6]^4- ,if a solution of K3[Fe(CN)6] with Fe3+ is added they form deep blue precipitate of K[FeFe(CN)6]
