a.Ireland:The power of wave is one of the most significant forces of coastal change.Waves are created by wind blowing over the surface of the sea.As the wind blows over the sea,friction is created producing a swell in the water.The energy of the wind causes water particles to rotate inside the swell and this moves the waves forward.

b.Yucutan:This is also considerd as primary -type coastline.It is not modified much by wave action.The size of wave depends on its fetch.The fetch is the distance the wave travels.As the wave approaches a beach it slows.This is the result of friction between the water and the beach.The stronger the wind the larger the wave.

c. Cape cod:Cape cod is independent land mass seperated from the mainland by the cape cod canal that juts out into the Atlantic Ocean.Waveaction carrriers off much of the finer sediments,leaving behind only coarser material.
