Egyptian culture is probably the best known form of ancient art.Ancient Egyptian temples were meant as a places for the gods to reside on earth .The worship of gods was present to some degree in mortuary temples ,for them all periods of royal cult involves the god and equally all cult of gods involves the king.The cult statue will be washed,and then annointed with perfumes and dressed in clothes and necklaces.Food and drinks were laid before the image of god for devine sustinence.Processions of the god were an important feature of the cult.
Mummies and mummification was so facinated because their skill is awesome in constucting pyramids.They remained as the rememberance of the Egyptian kings.May be we cant see the rulers who constructed them ,but they left that pyraminds as their remembrance.this is fascinating many people.
