Industrialization lead to fast economic growth. The fast economic growth and increasing job opportunities in the developing cities lead to urbanization. The process of urbanization starts when several factories are established within a place. Several other businesses starts to boom around this factory like service providers, retailers and building manufacturer. This results in more job creation in that region and demand of housing rises, thus leading to urbanization.
Technology like transportation and telecommunication helped in urbanization a lot.
On the one hand industrialization lead to faster economic growth , the other hand it lead to several short term and long term problems.
Industrialization led to a bullish race of money. The desire to earn more and more over powered judgment of ethics. Long hours without overtime benefit, unsafe working conditions for workers, Child labor, and number of unskilled workers, riots, and strikes were few main problems during industrial revolution.
Many environmental issues such as green house, deforestation, air pollution, global warming .etc. are byproducts of Industrialization.
