Match the term with the correct description
Weather
Climate
Stratosphere
Tropopause
Greenhouse Effect
Greenhouse gases
Coriolis effect
Monsoon
Cold front
Warm front
Boundary that limits mixing between the troposphere and upper zones as air ceases to rise
Short-lived, local patterns; temperature and precipitation due to circulation of the troposphere
Gases in the atmosphere, especially carbon dioxide, water vapor, nitrous oxides, methane, and other substances that retain heat
Boundary formed when warm air slides over cooler air
Seasonal reversal of wind patterns caused by differential heating and cooling rates of oceans and continents
A natural phenomena where the atmosphere transmits sunlight while trapping heat
Long-term patterns of temperature and precipitation
Boundary formed when cooler air pushes away warmer air
Has almost no water vapor, but 1000 times more ozone than the troposphere
This curving pattern results from the fact that the earth rotates in an eastward direction as winds move above it

Explanation / Answer
answer -
a- boundary that limits mixing between the troposhere and the upper zone as air cease to rise- Tropopause. it is average height is about 9 km
b- short lived, local patterns temperature and precipitation due to circulation to the troposphere is called Weather it is day to day a acitivity of the circulation of winds, temperature and precipitation of over a region.
c- gases in the atmosphere especially carbon dioxide, water vapor, methane and nitrous oxide and other gases that retain heat are called green house gases. their amount is increasing day by day in the atmosphere which leads to increase in global atmospheric temperature of surface.
d- Boundry formed when warm air slides over cold air is called Warm Front. in this phenomenon warm air replace the cold air. warm fronts generally moves from southwest to northeast direction
e- Seasonal reversal of wind patterns caused by thr differential heating and cooling rates of oceans and continents is called Monsoon . it is seasonal reversning of wind accompanied by the changes in the precipitation pattern.
f- A natural phenomenon where the atmosphere transmits sunlight while traping heat is called Global warming due to increase in the amount of green house gases in the atmosphere the average surface temperature is increase which leads to melting of glacier and increse in the sea water level.
g- long term patterns of temperature and precipation is called Climate . it is measured by the annual temperature distribution, distribution of local and wind patterns, movements of current and precitation pattens and its amount over a area for minimum 30 years.
h- Boundary formed when cooler air pushes away warmer air is called Cold Front. in this cold air replace the warm air.
i- Troposhere has almost no of water vapor but 1000 times more Ozone than troposhere. it consist layer of ozone called Ozone layer which work is to absorb the harmful ultra voilet radiation and did not allow it to enter earth surface.
j- this curving pattern results from the fact that the earth rotates in an eastward direction as wind moves above it called Coriolis effect. it is direction of wind currents direction with the respect of the motion of earth. in northern hemisphere wind move in clockwise and anticlockwise in southern hemishere.
