1.Relative Permeability
Flow of water or oil through rock formations is called Permeability.
Relative Permeability defined as a ratio of effective permeability of a particular fluid at a particular saturation to absolute permeability of that fluid at total saturation. Relative permeability calculation gives comparison of the different fluids flow in the formation.
2.Drainage and Imbibition
Drainage is a collection of rain water from all parts of the area flows towards lowest level side and forms small linear water flow and merges in the stream.
Imbibition is a process where the solids absorb water and swell by increasing their volume. Seeds and dry wood absorb water and they swell by occupying more volume. Seeds planted in soil absorb water, swell and then comes out from the soil.
