A researcher plans to do an experiment in the college setting concerning the effects of class size on attendance in a first year law course. He has four levels of size, namely, 15, 25, 40, and 60 students. Four colleges are involved in the study, each having eight first-year law classes, two of each class size. The researcher can assign students at random to a class within a college. All professors teach four classes; the dependent variable is grades measured after one semester. Discuss the problems of control in this situation. Consider possible uncontrolled variables and variables that are or might be controlled. Is there a possibility of confounding variables in this research situation? State one or more hypotheses for this experiment.

answer- there are 4 levels of size of 15, 25, 40, 60
the 8 law classes running of first year in a school is each class. So there are 4 college are participating in experiment
. In each law classes there are 2 of each of class size means 30, 50,80, 120 students in each first year law classes. so In eight classes the size of class are following 240, 400, 640, 960 students. So 2240 students in each college of first year law students. all professor teaches 4 classes. and Controlled variable is constant in the experiement and Uncontolled varibles that are changes throughout the experiment. and problem that will be come in this situation is the stength of student are high so there would be problem to take attendence of first year law student So we have increse the size of class and other problem will student will be easily disengaged during the lecture, it will be not so easy to observe during a lecture. the professor can move between the students for querry session because of such strength
