Units transferred to the next department = Units in beginning work in process + Units started into production - Units in ending work in process
                                                             = 6900 + 79000 - 3900
                                                             = 82000

Units transferred to the next department = 82000
Ending work in process:
Conversion: 3900units X 20% = 780
Hence, Eqivalent units of production = 82000+780= 82780.
