Explanation / Answer

“Decision-making” for end-of-life care influenced me the most among all other topics.

It is very influential as it has capability to increase human life(age) with the support of various medical technologies (such as ventilators, feeding tubes etc.) or can let the natural death process continue by not opting for the treatment option. Hence, end-of-life care is facing various ethical dilemmas.

Costs Involved in End-of-Life Care: The healthcare services should not only target increasing the life of people but also improve its quality, especially when costs involved in it is concerned. Compassionate care is another option seeked by the patients while considering end-of-life care which is less costly and is a very good preference when medicine and treatment is unable to restore patient’s health.
