Explanation / Answer

When the care comes to public health care , it needs to provide complete and comprehensive care to the family during illness and also to educate them to maintain good health. Health promotion is an important concept in the levels of prevention.

In a public health we need to promote health of an individual or family by health education about personal hygiene , proper nutrition , maintain good environment , practicing good healthy habits , early and periodic health education , screening of disease etc.

Education should insist things or habits to follow and to avoid to maintain good optimum health.

We want to insist importance of breast feeding , complete well balanced diet , environmental sanitation , safe driving , following immunization schedule , maintain personal hygiene , good rest and adequate sleep... The community should understand these importance and they have to practice to attain optimum health.

Behaviors not to follow to be educated _ cessation of smoking and alcohol , intake of junk foods which contains no nutritive value , drug addiction , measures to be taken to avoid obesity , risk factors involved in consanguinous marriage etc.
