TEM- resolution= 0.2nm; type of lense=electromagnetic lense; max magnification= 100000x or greater; sample prepared in vaccum

compound- resolution= 200nm; type of lense= convex; max magnification= 100x; sample is prepared by staining of thin sample or smear

Stereoscopic- resolution=120nm; type of lense= like compound microscope; max magnification= 100x; sample is prepared as compond microscope

ans 2- their small sie, viruses can be best viewed using microscopes with large resolution power like SEM and TEM.
