Explanation / Answer

Answer:

3. Galapagos have declined in the population from 2017 to 2018; therefore by observing the trend, by next 10 years, the Galapagos are expected to be 1,742 in number. (one year decline is 3122- 2984=138; in 10 years=1380; therefore, 3122-1380=1742).

4. Rhino population are also observed to decline in numbers. From 2017 to 2018 the fall off was 5055 to 2430 i.e a difference of 2525 (5055-2430). If this trend continues, in next 10 years the rhino population may be completely ruled out (extinct).
