In the above cells, "C11:J37" represents the entire dataset given in the question above, C column representing Gender and J column representing Daily Pay.

"J11" represents the field cell i.e. Daily pay column (as we have to calculate Average Pays for different criterias)

The remaining cell references in the formula provided above pertain to the criteria selected for the desired output (total 6 criteria hence 6 different references).
