1) Biodiversity is impacted a lot of factors like climate change, land use, deforestation, pollution, high carbon dioxide emissions,occurence of acid rain,industrilization. The effect on biodiversity can be seen across all species, from birds, conifers, marine turtles, various grasses, bears and other animals.These factors impact habitat, ecosystem including feeding habits, affecting nutrient load for various species.

2)Natural phenomenon to control mountain pine beetle is woodpeckers feeding on the trunks of infested trees.Some parastic insects also control the beetles.

3)Spruce beetle infestation can be seen icreasing from the year 2002.Decrease in mountain pine beetle infestation rate is result of damage or exhaustion of a lot of pine variety which they habitated and fed off is gone.Most of the trees were susceptible are already dead or in the process of dying.Extremely cold weather is also a reason for decrease in infestation rate of pine beetle.
