1). Protozoa are the unicellular eukaryotes, which share some behavioural similarities with animals such as predation and movement. Protozoa are heterotrophs, they ingest food like the other animals. An example of infection caused by protozoa is, malaria (Plasmodium falciparum). Other diseases caused by protozoa are, dysentery, and giardaiasis.
