1) During Depolarization the membrane potential rises from - 30mV to 70mV.. During this stage Sodium Channel Opens which allow the influx of sodium ions inside the membrane resulting in the change in the membrane potential.. Rest all the channels remain closed... !

2) During Reploarization sodium channels gets closed and only Potassium Channels open which allows the outflux of Potassium ions outside the membrane rest every channel gets closed no ions movement in other channels..

3) During resting potential all Sodium and Potassium Channels gets closed only Sodium - Potassium Pump opens which move 2 Sodium outside and 3 Potassium inside against the contration gradient using energy of the cell.. With that Potassium leaky channel are also open to allow the influx of Potassium inside the membrane to keep the potential negative..!!
