Explanation / Answer

On entry of antigen into the host body special type of lymphocytes are activated. Firstly antigen is processed for the purpose of antigen presentation. Macrophages and dendritic cells are main type of APC and the digest the peptides. The peptides then are exposed to T-cell and by TCR they recognise the antigen. Activated T-cell may induce humoral or cellular immune response. The antibodies or cytotoxic T cells kill the antigen.
