She met with her primary care physician to see about getting back on ADHD medication which acts like norepinephrine. Her recent report states she has not had a menstrual cycle since having her son, she has gained 30 pounds in the last 8 months, has difficulty focusing. c/o stomach pairn with a pain scale of 6 out of 10, her vitals are as followed BP:142/90 T- 994 R- 24 Based on the information provided: Is there possibly of an additional dx? If so, list and explain Why has Kasey not had a period since having her son? Explain in detail. Should she use the norepinephrine drug? Why or why not? Ans.Reading the above situation is think that she is having high blood pressure and high breathing rate.high blood pressure is due to norepinephrine and high breathing rate is due to hyper activity due to ADHD.

SO no more diagnosis is required.

Kasey does not have mentstrual cycle after birth because of hormone prolactin which is released for breastfeeding the child.This prolactin affects normal hormones in body causing the body to not ovulate thus there will be no menstruation for certain time period.

She should use the drug because after deliver estrogen levels falls down and this condition can cause the symptoms of ADHD get worses so this should be taken.
