a. Nitrogen is essential for plants and animals both. Nitrogen is an important constituent of various amino acids which are the building blocks of proteins that in turn is a building block of body. Hence, nitrogen is very important.
b. Nitrogen react with oxygen to produce oxide like nitrogen dissipated oxide, nitric oxide and ammonia which are used by plants as nutrients .
c. Phosphorus is essential because it is a part of DNA structure , ATP structures. Also important for teeth and bone formation. Helps the plants in photosynthesis.
d. Phosphorus combine with oxygen to give phosphate which in turn help the plant in photosynthesis.
e. Polar nature of water means it have both positive and negative charged. Hence, it can attract the substance with any of the positive or negative charge and in this way they are able to dissolve the substance.
f. Ability of a substance to dissolve in water is essential because plants mainly get the nutrition from the soil using their roots. Hence, it is very important to any substance to dissolve in water, so that they get taken up by the plants.
13. This is necessary because the oxygen produced by plants is used to generate ATP that is energy currency for the body of an animal.
