Explain the marketing mix in your own words. Why is each function essential to a well developed marketing strategy? If you were to work in a marketing department or marketing company - what role or position would you want to be involved in? Explain your choice. If you would not want to work in marketing - explain why not? And for those of you who do not want to work in the actual marketing department - do you think some or all of the functions are found in other areas or are part of other positions within the company? In other words - is marketing just for marketeers?

Marketing mix is the correct combination of product, price, place and promotion which are part the marketing plan. A correct market mix will present the right combination of these elements.
Each function is essential because cover a part of the marketing plan, without one the marketing plan most likely will fail.
If I worked at a marketing company I would like to be involved on the business analytics and big data because with the use of data you can present a better marketing plan by evaluating the needs of the customers.
Marketing is not just for marketeers, data scientists or business administrators are also involved. In fact every company wants to sell a service or product, therefore at some level each company must have a marketing department or a person in charge of marketing the products
