Basophils are the important granular leukocytes which help in the inflammatory response. This is done by the secretion of histamines.

6. Erythrocytes

The red blood cells or the erythrocytes are filled with the hemoglobin.

7. B lymphocytes

They produce antibodies and give rise to plasma cells.

8. Eosinophils

These cells protect the body from parasitic infections.
