The following is code for a strand of DNA. Complete this table. i have no idea where to even start...
i have posted the table I need to complete along with an example.
123 45 6789 10 11 1213 14 15 16 1718 19 Position # > triplets mRNA U?G?A codons see Figure 8.7 leave blank leave tRNA AC GIG use RNA base pair rules A-U, C-G leave blank leave blank leave blank Anti- codons Met Amino STOP leave blank leave blank ATAT-Promoter Sequence, does not require mRNA, does not require tRNA, no amino acid (from ??0re Funke, Case, 10 ed. Microbiology An Introduction)Explanation / Answer
During transcirption A codes U, T codes A, G codes C and C codes G. So, in RNA synthesis, if TAG is there in Template it codes for AUG in RNA.
During trasnlation, the codons paris with anticodons so, A binds with U, G binds with C or vice versa. So, If AUG is there, the anticondon will be UAC. AUG codes for methonine.
So, for TTT, the RNA codon will be AAA and tRNA anticodon will be UUU. AAA codes for lysine .
The CGU codon coded by GCA and the anticodon will be GCA. CGU codes for Argnine.
For anticodon UGG the codon will be ACC and the DNA will be TGG. ACC codes for Thrionine.
