1.gelatin suspension gives a source of protein while gumarabic gives a source of carbohydrate. So,in the ancient oceans these may not have been present butsimpler forms of these may have been present.These simple proteinsand carbohydrates may have combined to form coacervates and thenthe more complex organisms. 2.As HCl was added the pH of the solution became more and moreacidic.So to get back the coacervates we need to add a base likeNaOH.This increases the pH of the solution and the coacervatesreappear. 3.To make it easy to view under the microscope we can add adye to stain the sample.Staining makes it easier to appear. hope it helps you
