Terrestrial environment, indicated by sand and gravel During this time period the Naco Limestone was deposited, which indicates a marine environment. During the time there is evidence for both marine and terrestrial environments. These units were later metamorphosed. In addition to marine and terrestrial rocks, diabase was also deposited. Terrestrial environment, indicated by valley- and channel-deposited conglomerates. In addition, this time period featured explosive volcanism and normal faulting.
