Find the average value of the function over the given interval and all values of x in the interval for which the function equals its average value. (Round your answers to three decimal places.) f(x) = ?sin x, [0, ?] Please note there are two points that i need. I got to the part where 2/pi is the average value but i cant seem to understand how to go about to get the two points.
Explanation / Answer
first calculate ? -sin(x) dx = [-cos(x) = -cos(?/2) + cos(0) = -0+1 =1
Average value = 1 / ?/2 = 2/?
function value = 4/?
so.....2cos(x) = 2/?
cos(x) = 1/?
