The most general example of calculus is in Physics where we use calculus concepts in order to find velocity and acceleration of a body at an instant.

For example-

Position of a car is given by x = 5t2 - 2t +1 . Determine its velocity and acceleration in 2 sec.

Sol. velocity = dx/dt = 10t -2 = 10*2 -2 = 18m/s

Acceleration = d2x/dt2 = 10 = 10m/s2 constant acceleration
