To protect the environment we need to change many things. The way we live and the things we use in our daily life are causing damage to the environment. We use electrical appliances which consume more electricity which leads to the environmental damage again in the end. So the environmental protection agency and other agencies applied some rules and techniques to protect the environment.
Coming to the companies that manufacture the products need to change their designs and quality to protect the environment. There are some pros and some cons in this. The already finished product will be of no use. New machinery must be purchased to make another design. New technology must be implemented. New recruits and new thinking. They find little loss and lag in the product manufacturing.
But when they release the product customers will take in high quantities. Customers always needs something new and this is the way how we do business. So when you introduce something new the demand will be high. At the same time environment is also protected.
All these processes takes some time but finally they will succeed. If we take an example of Philips company, they used to manufacture normal bulbs which consumed lots of electricity. Now they are into LED lights which are giving more light with less electricity. This increased the profits and decreased the power consumption.
When the rules are strict and tight people will change their way of thinking. Companies can actually follow the rules and change their designs and they need to feel responsible for saving the environment. Standardization of a product will be helpful. If there are any countries that don't have these rules then they will learn from the once that had these rules. Because saving the environment is not just a duty of one country. And once the technology is developed then it spreads all around the world.
