Your paper should contain your personal thoughts and observations on one of these issues, topics, ideas, or claims. Presenting the reasons for your point of view and providing a thoughtful, original, critical discussion is an essential part of this paper. You should do this paper on your own. You do not need to consult someone else or some other source. This is not a research paper. The paper should be a minimum of 700 words. It can be submitted early too. Deadline: This paper is due before 11:30pm, Friday, April 20. Lessons from Nature Ralph Waldo Emerson, American philosopher and transcendentalist said, "Adopt the pace of nature: her secret is patience." While this is a message about the value of patience, it is also a message pointing us to nature as a source of moral and spiritual inspiration and guidance. Emerson and other transcendentalists (e.g. Henry Thoreau, Margaret Fuller), while not concerned with global warming were sensitive to the view that humans were part of the natural environment and rooted in it. Reflect on what Emerson says about nature. Do you think that this view is reasonable? -what is your impression of these claims/beliefs? -what is important and significant about this point of view? -what may be the downside of this point of view? Suggestions try to connect what ís being said to your own experience; again, try to do this paper on your own and independently generate your own thoughts without going online or discussing it with a lot of people

Explanation / Answer

Regarding the concept of Emerson about Nature's secret which is the patience, we the human beings are not supposed to rush things because of our greediness and curiosity to get things done at the earliest. We need to patiently follow as what nature is showing us like day and night, seasonal variations, eclipses etc.

Our mother Earth, one day was a fire ball and that has evolved to a Blue heavenly Planet over billions of years. Thats is what he meant by Nature's secret called Patience. If we wanted the fire ball to become the beautiful one in a year or two, we could imagine the condition of the earth and which is not all a possible one. So first thing we should realize that nothing extraordinary or even normal things are not going to happen in short cuts. It should go through its own pace and has to show perseverence. Ultimately that will give fruitful results as the transformation happened from a fire ball to a blue heavenly mother Earth.

Humanbeings are the ONLY cause of the exisiting global warming and severe pollution which we the present population is facing. These are all happened because of our impatient approach to get things done and to live luxuriously. We should follow what our Nature is giving and nurturing us. We should limit the population by controlling the birth rate which will enhance the nature's resources. Global population is tremendouly increasing every year which is difficult or impossible to feed sufficient food and other things. Due to that reason, we are forced to identify short cuts to get fast trouble free production and the results are deadly plastic and pesticides.

We have to identify and grow food crops in and around our civilization by limiting the infrastructures, this will avoid heay transportation which is again impacting or adding the carbon foot prints. This clarifications or justifications are endless and we should start thinking of going back to the anicent times where human beings were happily living with limited resources.
