f(a+h) - f(a)= -(a+h)2+2(a+h)+a2-2a

= -a2-h2-2ah +2a+2h +a2-2a

= -h2-2ah +2h=-h(h+2a-2)

Its a rational expression and in rational expression denominator must be not equal to zero
