There are many applications of derivatives. We are going through 3 of them in class - curve sketching, related rates and optimization. The book covers two more that we wil not be discussing- Newton's method (3.8) and differentials (4.8).Throughly expain Differentials - you can use any resources that you want (make sure to cite your resources). Write up a few paragraphs on this topic to thoroughly explain when/why/how it is used, include (and figure out the answer to) an example problem that would be solved using this methods application
