Question
You are hiking in the woods and don't know where you are. It's getting dark and it's going to be very cold tonight. You figure it's time to head back and take out your handy dandy smartphone with the spiffy GPS app you installed for this occasion. The battery is dead. Fortunately, your very wise and astute geography teacher reminded you to take a compass and a topo map with you just in case. There was a high point with a view a few minutes back. You could pick out many landmarks from there. You do a happy dance and head over there. Tell me how do you use your gear to find out where you are?
