1 Ans=> In the northern hemisphere because of Coriolis Effect winds are deflected to toward the right, and fail to arrive at the low pressure center, but instead circulate around it in a counterclockwise fashion. In the southern hemisphere the circulation around a low pressure center would be clockwise. Such winds are called cyclonic winds.
