and the total cost of produceing 100 cupcakes by the bakery is = $ 126

=> a> m = slope = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1) = (144 - 126)/(120 - 100) = 18/20 = 9/10

b> y = mx + c = 9x/10 + c

now when x = 100 , y = 126

=> 126 = 100*9/10 + c

=> c = 36

the equation is : y = 9x/10 + 36

where x is the number of cupcakes

c> when x = 180

y = 9*180/10 + 36 = $ 198
