   Given that

length of home = 54 ft

   breadth of home = 30 ft

Area of home = 54 ft x30 ft

   = 1620 square foot

Given that

Cost of constructing a home = $ 95 per square foot

Hence,

Cost of constructing a rectangular home = 1620 square foot x $ 95 / square foot

= $153900

b ) Master bed room :

Given that

length of master bedroom = 14 ft

   breadth of bedroom = 14 ft

Area of master bedroom = 14 ft x 14 ft

   = 196 square foot

Given that

Cost of carpeting bedroom = $ 17.95 per square yard

Hence,
