Dewpoint is the temperature to which the air would have to cool to become saturated with water vapor, if we condense it further, water vapor starts to condense to form liquid water. dewpoint indicates the amount of watervapor present in the atmosphere, if the water vapor is low the dew point also will be low (air has to cool more to condense the water) these are found in hot arid regions like deserts or in the polar regions. if the dew point is high it indicate the surplus amount of water vapor in the atmosphere and this makes the condensation fast, these regions are found in tropical regions, because of the high evaporations rate due to the more sunlight cause the amount of water vapor in the air.
