Number of Fetal deaths = 13

Number of Autopsies in Fetal Death = 9

Number of persons died outside and brought to hospital for autopsy = 2

a)GROSS AUTOPSY RATE = number of inpatient autopsies for a period / total number of inpatient deaths for a period*100

GROSS AUTOPSY RATE = 21/40 *100 = 52.5

b)NET AUTOPSY RATE = number of inpatient autopsies*100 / (total number of inpatient deaths -    number of Unautopised Coroner's cases)

NET AUTOPSY RATE = 21*100/(40-3) = 56.7568

c) ADJUSTED HOSPITAL AUTOPSY RATE = Total Hospital Autopsies*100/(Total number of deaths of hospital patients bodies available in the Hospital for autopsy)

ADJUSTED HOSPITAL AUTOPSY RATE = 21*100/(40-2-3) = 60
