Energy and water usage on a daily basis: Human uses 80-100 gallons of water per day. Water is used in the form of cooking, bathing, washing, in indutries, prcoesing, power generation etc. Energy is used in the form of cooking, movement using vehicles, computers, power generation, eating etc. Energy usage varies from country to country and Qatar uses the maximum energy per capita of approximately 25456 W. Yes, conserving water and energy is important in our life. For conservation of water, planting trees is important to get rain. Building dams and water regulatory structures will reduce the water flowing through oceans in the form of waste. Using water carefully without wasting also a good practice of water conservation. Food should not be wasted as lot of water is used to create food. Rain water harvesting was built in our house which will save the rain water collected through pipes and also the waste water from bathing and cooking. These water enters through the different graded pebbles and enters the ground without impurities. Groundwater level will get increased and it saves the future. Small solar power panels were installed to charge phones and solar heaters were installed to heat water. This saves lot of power bills.
