Hello, would you mind helping with this essay question for my business Math class which is due on the 10th and i don't understand. thank you so much for the help.

Find an application that uses a model of your chosen type. Explain why you are interested in that application type and use the model to estimate at least two things that are of interest to you. Example: I was interested in converting pH to ion concentration since [why not?]. The formula for this is ION =10^(-pH) (found in any chemistry textbook), which is an exponential equation. According to the Log Cabin Democrat’s article, “Conway Corp addresses customer concerns over water odor, taste” in 2016, Conway water typically has a pH of around 7.2., which would give an ion concentration of 10^(-7.2). I previously lived in Hot Springs, AR, where the natural spring water is praised for its taste, often with the phrase “naturally alkaline.” According to a tourism pamphlet I have produced by the city, Hot Springs water has an average pH of 7.5, giving an ion concentration of 10^(-7.5). I suppose on the atomic level, there is a big difference there, but I am skeptical as to whether it makes a difference in taste because those numbers are the same order of magnitude. Note how I included my sources in the text, included the equation and its type, and discussed two uses of the equation. I also gave some detail about why these facts are interesting to me.

We are choosing quadratic equation. I am a football player so I want to understand the dynamics of the game. So quadratic equation can help me understand the projectile motion of the ball and help me play better.

Using the concept of projectile motion I can understand at what angle I should hit the ball and with how much speed I should hit it. If I can understand this concept better it can help me improve my game.

This concept of projectile motion is also used in other sports also like javelin throw, discus throw and many more.
