I think I would disagree with the observer (it seems likethere are a lot more controls than people who were giventreatment..) but I'm not sure.

Yes you are correct i aggree with you because the odd-evenassignment to treatment or control is biased. For anyexperiment unbiased system is well and good then the ouput willgives precised values.
