The problem with extrapolation is the fact that you are usingknown data to predict what will happen outside the data set. For example, using the census data to predict the population of theUnited States in 2050 (who can predict war, disease, or natural distasters) themodel will be flawed to an extent. c) is definitely alimitation. b) is irrelevant. Giving a very goodestimate is perfectly fine ( being within .01% (or any smallpercent) of the predicted value is NOT exact but a very goodguess). a) is a limitation, using the data to makepredictions outside the data set is unreliable (more often thannot).
