Question

Compute the exact probability that at least two people your theclass share the same
birthday (note by that we mean same day and month, but notnecessarily same year).
Here are few assumptions to make before you start thecomputation:
• First, let us ignore the complication of February 29birthdays.
• Second, we will assume that people are equally likely to beborn on any of the
(remaining) 365 days of the year.
Hint: You may want to start with n=3 people and then generalize to36. Also use the fact
that P(at least two share the same birthday) = 1- P(none have thesame birthday).
